I have many 'acquaintances',
very few 'friends'. I'm an introvert,
so though I love people,
I tend to get worn out when I'm around people a lot. I live a pretty solitary existence,
and for the most part like it that way. ,
This has been hard for my 'extroverted' friends to understand at times.,
I don't like people with 'agendas',
though I know we all have them at times.,
I don't like the 'tit for tat' mentality. You comment on my stuff,
I'll comment on your stuff and tell you how wonderful you are ! ,
In my world,
none of us are 'all that'. There will be things others write that I like,
and some things I don't. It is what is.,
Only over time and 'listening' do we come to really know another. Sometimes we go our separate ways permanently,
sometimes we cross paths again and again and smile. ,
I enjoy that journey.
